Last week, we explored some newly updated Addons for Blender (part 1). In today’s article, we will continue to learn some new Addons and Updates for Blender part 2! These add-ons will be extremely helpful for Blender users.
Next up we have Turbo tools that you need to speed up your render times by many folds. This is the case while keeping image quality especially for complex scenes. The newest version comes with a temporal stabilizer which is a new addition to the add-on. Temporal stabilization allows you to reduce animation render times by up to 40 times. When the stabilizer is turned on just incredible how much difference there is between when this feature is on and off is very remarkable. Not only render times are much shorter but also the shapes and the overall quality is much better.
Now we are talking about cameras. All tabs camera is recently to give physical properties for the default camera. It also allows you to accurately calculate light and at different effects and imperfections for more realism. It also allows you to quickly add autofocus animate the camera by drawing its path. And it easily navigate with the camera everything in a unified user interface for full control over the camera in only one place.
Now we’re going to talk about an add-on that has to do with the blender interface this one is called Horizon Panels. It was recently released by pixel x studio for helping users intuitively manage their Dashboard. This add-on pointed out two issues in the design of lender’s default end panels. Firstly, the lack of space making it difficult to navigate through multiple add-on panels at the same time. Secondly the fact that the tabs are shown vertically which makes them hard to read. The addon features intuitive tab panels arrange horizontally and it gives you the ability to organize your tabs in categories. Besides, manage your add-ons in one place without having to open the preferences window. The only limitation you will need to know about is that the horizon tabs are accessible only via mouse clicks which means they are not clickable in other modes other than object mode and edit mode.
If you don’t want to render volumetric fog for hours, there is a better solution that can help you get most of the same results. A categorized library of 30 realistic fog planes completed by modifiers giving them depth and motion effect when moved they are easily. It also being animated using the fox shader node that is integrated into the add-ons panel.
