A bit about OctaneRender
OctaneRender is an unbiased, spectrally correct GPU render engine. This render engine comes with a broad range of features. Some of the highlights are Volumetric Rendering, Deep Pixel Rendering, OSL, Live Texture Baking, Toon Shading, Octane Denoiser, Out of Core Geometry, and much more.
Fast speed, interactivity and flexibility make Octane one of the most popular render engines for many artists these days, and of course for iRender users.
OctaneRender and iRender Cloud Rendering
iRender is a Professional GPU-Acceleration Cloud Rendering Service provider in HPC optimization for rendering tasks, CGI, VFX with over 20.000 customers and being appreciated in many global rankings (e.g. CGDirector, Lumion Official, InspirationTuts CAD, All3DP, Radarrender, Vfxrendering).
Under IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) model, users will remotely connect to our server, install any version of Octane only one time and fully control the whole render process, just like using their local computers.
Any version
iRender supports Octane in any version, both as a standalone program or as a plugin. The most popular host applications for Octane are Cinema 4D and Houdini. However, iRender supports all host applications, and plugins as below:
Any license
In terms of subscriptions, there are 3 types of Octane: Octane Free, Octane Studio and Octane Enterprise. Each license has a different GPU limit.
iRender provides Powerful Render Nodes from 1/2/4/6/8x RTX 3090 for both Single-GPU and Multi-GPU Rendering. Of course, you can use any server for any type of license. But we should choose one package that has the most suitable GPU limit, to optimize the cost and time.
- Octane Free (1 GPU)
- Octane Studio (up to 2 GPUs)
- Octane Enterprise (no GPU limit)
Prime users
In addition, iRender offers special benefits for our Prime customers: free Octane floating licenses to use on iRender servers. The cost for the Octane License is €199 – €299 per year. But, users who top up enough points to become Prime customers will be able to use the Octane license without usage or maintenance costs.
Thank you & Happy Rendering!
