In the game development industry, both are not popular like 3ds max, Maya, Unity or Unreal Engine. However, if you have to compare these two software, it’s safe to say that Houdini could do better than Cinema 4D. The use of Houdini’s VFX/simulation and modeling for large-scale environments is a big plus.
